Behind the collection

A dead end can
be a useful signal.

A good 404 page helps the visitor after they get lost. No404, the product behind this collection, finds the page they were looking for.

First, give visitors a way back.

This library makes that part easier. Pick a design that fits your brand and give people a clear route home. The templates are free, self-contained and editable.

Then, send them to the right page.

No404 reads your sitemap, matches each broken URL to the closest live page and redirects the visitor there. When nothing is close enough, the URL stays a real 404, so unrelated traffic never lands on your homepage.

Its dashboard lists the broken URLs that still get visitors and where those visitors came from: ads, search, social media or other sites. It runs as a WordPress plugin, a PrestaShop module, Laravel and Node.js packages, a server API or a small JavaScript snippet on your 404 page.

The templates here do not include tracking. The only link to No404 in the code is a small “Design by No404” line under the page.
