What to send

• A public GitHub repository that you own, with a 404.html file at the root and a LICENSE file with the MIT license.
• One self-contained file: CSS in a <style> tag and, if the page is interactive, a script in a <script> tag. No external fonts, images, libraries, requests or tracking.
• English copy. The heading and the message should only make sense for your page.

Why MIT

Every design here is released under the MIT license, so anyone can use it on any site. We can publish your page in HTML, Tailwind, React and Next.js only if it uses the same license. You keep the copyright, and your name stays on the design.

Design rules

• Start from one concept: a place, an object, a job or a screen. If the page would fit any website, it is not ready.
• Pick four to six colours. No purple or indigo accents, gradient text, glass panels or glowing blobs.
• System fonts only. Inter, Roboto, Geist, Space Grotesk, Poppins and Montserrat are not accepted.
• One h1 and a visible link to /, the homepage.
• It works with a keyboard, at 320 px wide and with reduced motion. Every control on the page does something.
• No “Oops”, “Looks like you’re lost” or “back on track”, and no em dash in the heading or the message.
• No invented numbers, reviews or customer logos.

How review works

You sign in with GitHub and send the repository link. We only ask GitHub for your public profile: it proves who sent the design, and it cannot read or change your repositories. Anonymous submissions are not accepted.

We check the page against these rules and may ask for changes. When it is ready, it is published here with your name, avatar and GitHub profile on the design page and in the header of its code.

When you send the link, we check at once that the repository is public, uses the MIT license and has a 404.html at the root, and note anything that breaks the design rules. You can follow the review below the form.
